DCT can supply you with a range of Crane Composite Kemlite® fibrelgass reinforced plastic (FRP) planels and Dow Styrofoam™ products to suit your refrigerated transport requirements.

Kemlite® is a fibreglass reinforced plastic (FRP) suitable for cladding the wall and roof of any size vehicle in place of traditional aluminium sheeting. Kemlite® is available in a range of finishes and can be supplied in one continuous sheet for a streamline finish.

Kemlite® can also be used in a sandwich panel with the Dow Styrofoam™ to improve thermal performance, reduce weight and increase your payload.

Dow Styrofoam™ extruded polystyrene will improve the thermal efficiency of your refrigerated transport as it offers one of the highest R-value per thickness available on the market. Styrofoam™ will not be effected by moisture over time like other polystyrenes and polyurethanes which means that the thermal performance will never be compromised.

The high compressive, tensile and shear strengths also make Styrofoam™ suited for use in sandwich panels as it eliminates the need to use steel framing as traditionally used in refrigerated transport. Styrofoam™ also offers excellent bonding properties meaning that it will adhere extremely well with our Kemlite® FRP products.
