Details The high water vapour permeability of Proctor Group Australia's (PGA) membranes allows for the controlled escape of water vapour from within the building whilst restricting the ingress of moisture, thus helping to protect the building fabric and insulation from condensation and related problems such as mould, timber rot, corrosion and loss of thermal resistance. PGA construction membranes are designed to meet the stringent requirements of the Australian and New Zealand sarking standards and are recommended for use in areas of higher temperature and humidity and/or higher levels of insulation such as aquatic centres, high occupancy buildings, certain agricultural and industrial buildings, kitchens and bathrooms. |
